🐔Saturday 3rd September – INTERDISTRICT GRAND FINAL

⚽️10:30am – 14A – John St Oval, Warners Bay

LMCFC Gold (1st) v Nelson Bay (3rd)
Our 14 Gold side have progressed to the grand final after beating the 14 Blue side in the semis two weeks ago. Their opponents, Nelson Bay, have reached the grand final the hard way by first defeating New Lambton 2-0 in the semi final and then upsetting our 14 Blue side 3-2 at Gregory Park last weekend.

The 14 Gold’s have taken the honours twice against Nelson Bay in the regular season with a 5-1 victory at Macquarie Field followed by a 4-0 win at Tomaree just a week later. Nelson Bay can’t be underestimated though as they have overcome a number of hurdles to reach the grand final including a difficult travel schedule over the finals series with all finals matches in this grade being played at Macquarie Football grounds.

Best wishes to our 14 Golds in their quest for back to back titles – looking forward to seeing lots of support for the team on Saturday at Warners Bay.
